As a Co-op parent, you understand the fact that the pleasure is being involved with your childrens education. From working in the classroom, Bates instruction, to fundraising and helping to keep the school clean and safe, it's vitally important that everyone is included in all aspects of the school. Your Teacher and Class Rep's are there to help you navigate this often confusing part of school. Don't be afraid to ask!
Now that your Pre-Kindergarten class kids are getting great at conversation, make sure and include them in your dinner conversation each night. Remember to ask questions that require a descriptive answer-steer away from yes or no type questions. This sparks creativity in their answers and hopefully you will find out something you didn't know before! "Hey Lu...can you tell me what your favorite part of play-time was today? ...Oh yeah! How does that make you feel? I love it when I feel happy! What other things today made you feel happy?"-JJ
